This is so the invention of telephone became a significant advancement in technology that allowed communication to happen faster and more efficiently. Today, we have many inventions in this field; but some of the most famous ones are as follows:

First telephone call




Telephone — invented by Alexander Graham Bell


First Telephone was designed for an operator who could call or receive calls from three numbers. Two operators would each take the calls to their own house. Since then, Telephone has become a part of our everyday life. In 2019, there are only over 3,000 different telephone models. The first-ever phone was used in 1890s by Alexander Graham Bell for his girlfriend’s parents in Maryland. It was a simple device made from rubber and wood. Three years later, Mr. Bell patented several improvements on his design named after women, like Mary Louise McLeod Bethune, whom he called Mother Louise


First American Telephone Company (FATC)


In 1880, Thomas Edison designed the first working electric light bulb. He did all the work of manufacturing and development himself. But the problem with it was that there was no way to tell when he was going to need it. So he sent Edison's wife, Bertha Mason to test a small gadget that made lighting bulbs look like daylight. She gave her husband a letter saying that she got him the first electrical light bulb. After a year, Edison patented 20 light bulbs, including the first high efficiency bulb and the original low efficiency bulb. For 18 years, these bulbs produced the greatest number of lumens ever seen. Edison sold 10,000,000 fluorescent lights and made 50 million dollars in profit in 1891. From that day forward, every street in the United States had at least 1,000 fluorescent lights.
